I took this serene black-and-white panoramic photography when a stormy sunset was appoaching; it captures a group of young elephants joyfully playing together. Their playful energy contrasts beautifully with the calm savannah stretching beyond them.
Silhouettes of iconic acacia trees stand against the soft light of the imminent storm at sunset, adding a “this is Maasai Mara” touch. The gentle, diffused light highlights the magic of the moment. Though the rest of the herd remains out of frame, their presence is quietly felt, as if surrounding this joyful gathering of young giants.
