BROTHERS
Brothers are stronger when they remain together, also when they belong to a coalition.
I photographed these two lions from a group of seven warriors; they were looking for a prey while they were resting. Lions are silently disappearing, their population is decreasing slowly but surely.
The IUCN estimates that between 23,000 to 39,000 lions remain in the wild. Though last studies believe it may now be under 20,000, a 75% lion population declined in five decade due to loss of habitat and its fragmentation, poaching and human pressure.
